Description: An upload impovement would be great.

the ability to specify more details for an attachment like:

• author
• date
• version (if the file was updated)
• rights (is the attachment under GPL, CC for ex.)

This sound's like the wikimedia Commons, but I think this are some really important features missing using the pmwiki upload function.

If meta data plays an important role, one could perhaps use the WikiForms recipe for upload management. With regard to version information, there's also the EnableUploadVersions (which admittedly keeps the complete files instead of merely storing version information).
